paul rivasPaul Rivas, of Smith Rivas Academic Coaching & Consulting, is the leading study skills teacher in the metro DC area. He inspires students to seek more than they think is possible, teaches them how to achieve it, and pushes them toward peak performance.

As Paul says, “If you have to ‘study’, you’re doing it wrong!” Smith Rivas Academic Coaching & Consulting students learn to go to class with a purpose, take better notes, and review their material regularly so that they never have to study.

Since study skills per se is not our area of expertise, I asked him if I could share the information about his upcoming programs with my audience. I think what he offers will speak to many of you!

This Sunday at 3pm in the historic Hill Center near the super-cute Eastern Market, Rivas will present “Fun with Study Skills”, a one-hour show geared towards middle school and high school students who want to earn better
grades in less time so they can go do cool stuff: Click here for more information.

“High School Study Skills Boot Camp” is November 12 + 19 & December 3, 6-8pm, at Lives Under Construction in Annandale VA. This six-hour boot camp is ideal for 8th-10th graders who would like to earn better grades in less time so that they can go do cool stuff: Click here for more information.
