The Montgomery County Parent Academy has invited me to present my workshop: ACT vs SAT: The Facts vs The Hype and Which Test is the Best Match for YOUR Teen on October 20 from 7:00-8:30 in the Winston Churchill Highschool Media room at 11300 Gainsborough Road, Potomac, MD from 7-8:30 a.m.
This very important workshop will help parents understand the differences between the two college entrance exams in terms of content, question types, length, and skills tested as well as what schools prefer – if any.
Unique to this presentation will be the sharing of a one-of-a-kind 60 second assessment to determine which is the better exam for students – SAT or ACT – based on learning style and personality. Parents will actually be able to take the quick assessment in the workshop. Other valuable handouts will also be provided.
Also addressed will be comparisons between the present SAT and ACT vs. the redesigned SAT to be launched next October via the PSAT and in the March 2016 SAT.
You can register for the free ACT vs. SAT Workshop at the Montgomery County Parent Academy (You are welcome to bring your teen.)
I look forward to seeing you there! If you are unable to attend, highlights will be posted on the websites soon.
